I Found a Castle in Connecticut (Yes, Really!)

Tucked away in East Haddam, Connecticut, there’s a real-life castle that looks like it belongs in a fairytale — Gillette Castle. And let me tell you, the first time I laid eyes on it, I thought: Am I in New England or Hogwarts?

My Takeaway

We visited with another family and the kids had a wonderful time playing along the place near to the walking trail and rivershore. We enjoyed a homemade lunch together and returned home with happy hearts.
